Eyebrow Transplantation
Eyebrows may be missing or thinned for a number of different reasons, such as excessive plucking,
alopecia, scars from facial injuries or burns, and even natural aging. Eyebrow Transplantation is a
cosmetic procedure in which hair grafts are transferred to your eyebrow area. The goal is to get new
hairs to come out of these grafts and get a fuller appearance. The procedure is similar to a traditional
hair transplant.
How is Eyebrow Transplant Procedure Performed?
Eyebrow grafts are taken from the area above your ears or at the nape of your neck as many as the
number of grafts suitable for transplantation, and follicular units taken from this hair area are transferred
into the micro channels that are opened on the area of need in your eyebrow. In eyebrow
transplantation, it is extremely important that the grafts to be transplanted are single roots and the
channels are opened at a horizontal angle with very thin sapphire tips that are special only for eyebrow
transplantation.
