Beard/Mustache Transplantation
Beard is of great importance for men visually and psychologically. Beards that start to come out at the
age of 14-15 usually may come out less or not at all in some men due to hormonal disorders. In this
case, the only effective and permanent solution to the problem for men who want to have beards is the
beard transplant operation.
How is a Beard/Mustache Transplant Procedure Performed?
The beard transplant procedure can be performed by creating a beard from scratch for men who do not
have a beard at all, or in the form of densification for people who have a beard but have sparsity. In the
beard transplant process, hair follicles are usually taken from the neck area and irregularly distributed
hair follicles located around the cheekbones, and then transferred to areas that do not come out. But if
there is no hair to be taken in these areas of the person, in this case, the follicles are taken from the
nape area.
